The Opportunity
We, at Flywire, are seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist. We believe that people are our greatest asset. Working as part of the Global People Team, this individual will be tasked with supporting our expanding workforce on their FlyMate journey. In collaboration with the global team, this individual will play an essential role in optimising people processes and driving operational excellence in a variety of People Operation functions to create intuitive and exceptional experiences at scale for FlyMates. Here are some tasks this individual will be expected to perform:
- Provide daily People Operations support to FlyMates in India and across the APAC region as well as managing employee life cycle
- Ensure compliance with prevailing labour policies, employment laws and regulations across the APAC region
- To support, contribute and collaborate closely with both external and internal stakeholders globally to streamline, maintain and/or implement programs, policies, changes, initiatives and operational processes while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Responsible for maintaining and administering Flywire People Team’s systems in a globally aligned and compliant manner while also ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Support all audit requirements while adhering to Flywire’s compliance
- Supports timely execution of Flywire’s annual and mid-year people processes & programs such as employee surveys, performance management, promotion and compensation cycles, etc
- Effectively uses data to communicate, propose changes, & present opportunities & risks to Flywire’s People Team processes & programs
Here’s What We’re Look For:
- 5+ years of Human Resource, preferably in People Operations
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Management or Human Resources
- Strong experience with employment law in India and general knowledge across the APAC region
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong proactive initiative and resourcefulness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- High emotional intelligence and an ability to strike a balance between employee and company needs
